IEEE ANDESCON is the largest technical event of the countries belonging to the Andean Council of IEEE, open to the world. The eighth edition 2016 IEEE ANDESCON will be held in the city of Arequipa in Peru.
Arequipa is Cultural Heritage of Humanity (UNESCO) for its historical value and natural characteristics. It is located at 2335 m.a.s.l. in the valley of the Chili River, the climate is mild and relatively dry, and the temperature varies between 21ºC and 10ºC.The sun shines almost every day of the year.
Arequipa is located to 900km south Lima and 1 hour by plane. Its gastronomy is best quality and originality of its dishes satisfies all requirements.

On behalf of the Organizer Committee, I'd like to announce some points regarding the beginning of the conference:
Registration at the event will be open on Tuesday 18 (from 17:00 to 19:00 hrs.) and on Wednesday 19 (from 7:00 to 8:45 hrs.). In these times you can approach the hotel venue (Hotel Libertador Arequipa) to complete your registration process and/or collect the participant kit. If you want to make a bank deposit, there's a BCP agency near the Plaza de Armas de Arequipa.
If you are an authour, please do no forget to share your presentation (PPT or PDF file – entitled “PPT_Paper_#XX”) with Beto Wong (firstname.lastname@example.org) via Google Drive or OneDrive. Additionally, a short bio -of 5 lines as maximum- is required to introduce you on your oral presentation.
You have been notified in our previous e-mail about the acceptance of your paper for the 2016 IEEE Andean Council International Conference -ANDESCON- to be held in the city of Arequipa-PERU, October 19 - 21, 2016.
This message inform you that your paper will be allotted 20 minutes for oral presentation.
Please plan your presentation for 16 minutes, to allow time for Q&A.
Remember that IEEE requires that all accepted papers must be presented at the event to be published in IEEEXplore. An authors´ No-Show will imply that the paper will be EXCLUDED from the online IEEE Xplore database.
Additionally, we ask authors registered in the event that will make his/her oral presentation to share his/her presentation (PPT or PDF file – entitled “PPT_Paper_#XX”) with Beto Wong ( email@example.com) via Google Drive or OneDrive.
